By Seattle Times staff A SWAT team and police negotiators surrounded a Leschi home in Seattle where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding. Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South where police stopped a woman who was leaving the home. She told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source. The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home. The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Queen Anne and Renton. At 8:44 p.m., Seattle police received information that the person of interest may be in a Leschi home, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police are now trying to confirm the identity of the person inside. Police blocked off the street at East Yesler and 30th Avenue South. Police are telling residents to stay indoors and keep their doors locked.

I was somewhat cheered by the statement that they found evidence he was at the house, if not in it. I take that to mean he’s leaking. The problem’s the time delay between when he was dropped off and when the PD were notified. It’s a wooded area, lots of places to hide once he figured out there was a witness to where he was and he’d watched her drive off. They apparently took the perimeter down, but I hope they keep working the area aggressively.
all the guys in that picture laughing, (romney pic) creep me out. we’ve seen that laugh before in the “gang of 10” (i think) picture.
IMHO, Romney almost looks like Obama, Ted Kennedy (shivers), but who are the other dudes that look so happy to be sticking it to the citizens of Mass, the ones that pay taxes?
My girls want to go to Forks.
There are in fact million dollar homes right down the street from this place.
I don’t care for Forks, but then I love Long Beach.
I do have a dog adopted from a shelter in Forks, however.
If you mean the photo of Romney signing the socialized medicine legislation for his socialist state, it is CREEPY. Every damn one of them are gleeful and too wealthy to ever be impacted by the legislation.
If you think someone helped him, maybe that’s why the police were looking for Eddie Davis and that white Buick LeSabre last night. Recall that Eddie Davis was arrested with Clemmons when Clemmons punched a police officer.
It’s hard to believe he’s still on the run. He’s either very clever or very lucky or both.

Yes, maniacal laughing.
Long Beach looks pretty, but my kids like the Twilight series. ;)
I have family in WA. Bellingham, Port Orchard, Kennewick. Haven’t been there in 25 years. So darn pretty, although family in Kennewick has wheat farm.
So many people looking for him. Too bad he was able to get the GPS off.
Checked Whitehouse.gov. No statement on this.
I learned one thing from Clemmons: the GPS device is useless.
Shot in the torso means he is in pain, perhaps seriously bleeding, or at least high risk for infection, imo.
They’re working an unoccupied vehicle with bloody rags in it down near the Kingdome. A lot of this is ordinary stuff that takes on new meaning. I’ll bet every husky black homeless guy in the area is suddenly meeting new people in blue.
I think this guy is a psychopath and I am beginning to think Huckabee is a sociopath as well.
Did you know about the Dumond case? After reading the article and watching the video interview of Huckabee, I vaguely recall the case.
God keep you all this day!
Shot in the torso! Excellent.
ArmstedFragg, I love your way with words...lol. I take it from your description that the Kingdome is located in an area where Clemmons could easily blend with the folks and also get some sympathetic assistance?
