Mistakes can happen and people slip through, but it was more like a pattern for Huckabee.

If you're wondering how Gov. Huckabee's hundreds of clemencies compare with neighboring states, get ready for a shocker.
___ Huckabee leads the pack.
___ He has issued more commutations and pardons than all of the six neighboring states combined.

It never ceases to amaze me that some people just cannot accept that other people are evil .. or can be evil .. and do evil things.

This is especially true of some Christians .. who are tied to the “we have to forgive” mantra. I’ve been a Christian for a lot of years, but I can still recognize that some people are just plain evil.

It’s partly due to ignorance of the scriptures. Jesus was not a wimp. He restrained himself because He knew what His mission was - to die on the cross. He reminded his followers when the Romans came to arrest Him that He could have called legions of angels to help Him.

Also .. when Jesus found corruption within the temple, He went inside and turned over the tables (piled with money), and then He bodily threw the money changers out into the street. I think that shows me that Jesus was not afraid to challenge people who were doing evil, and we should not be afraid either.

The other thing the media says to Christians is: You can’t judge. But that’s another lie from the devil. We have a better way of determining people’s intent - it’s called “discernment”.
