Some of early reports about the Oct 31st Seattle police ambush where one officer was killed and another wounded, where speculating the same thing. But it ended up being nut who had a grudge against all police, and was hell bent on killing as many as he could. Thankfully he was caught after his first shooting, because his apartment was loaded with nail-filled bombs, and weapons.

Thhat are of Lakewood and Parkland is however notorious with gang activity, so who know what the outcome will be.

I've been following this all day. The police spokesman already said it was a handgun. No AK's or SKS's involved. Legal owners of military weapons have enough problems without adding crimes like this to the list!

I was born in Yakima and visits are heartbreaking, as it has become unrecognizable.
