The XKE used to be my favorite till I saw the older ones. I love all the Jag models you’ve had.
Last local Jag concours I went to a XK 150 won best of show.
Got any Jags now?

When our son came into the world in '76, wife and I decided we needed a recreation vehicle for more than two people. We've owned various fishing and runabout boats since my Jaguar days. I have a pix of # 1 son in a blue snow suit at age about 3, sitting on the back floor with the rear door open on the E coupe. The car was white with red leather interior.
The most fun was the 150 S. It had the 4 speed box with electric overdrive. It was white when I got it. I painted it tomato red (as close to Ferrari red as I could find.) I ran it with twin straight pipes for about a year and finally the cops wised up and nailed me with an excessive noise ticket. Midas Muffler in Des Moines has a small flat glasspack and I fitted a pair of those w/ some large driving lights about a year before I sold it. Last I heard, it had been shipped to Holland.
