The preferred scenario....
It gives all the power to human imagination, without constraint that is, the imagination has no limit, it owes nothing to anything beyond its own confabulations by which such may be tested for truth value.
It makes man the measure....
But hallucinatory experiences of this kind do not change the nature or structure of Reality, only the way the man experiences it. Reality is indestructible; man is not. Ergo, man's experience does not, cannot, determine Reality: He is a participant in it, not the Maker of it.
But the temptation to witchcraft is oh! so ancient....
