That is precisely why the GOP isn’t the answer. They had a conservative candidate who they could have endorsed and they DIDN’T. Even Gingrich towed the party line on that one. It was a disgrace. The GOP actions pretty much made sure that Hoffman couldn’t win. However if the vote were counted accurately I think the Hoffman situation could have been different anyway - and that is proof that a conservative party is viable. Things don’t happen overnight.

I am not here to make proposals on what to do...I have said the answers are not in the the DEM or GOP parties. History proves me right on that one. Back before the Revolutionary War there were many people that believed we could fix the British system, that is was broken, that we had to work within it...they were called Tories.

Glenn Beck is the first real opportunity for educating it is too bad Fox is the only option for him to get his word out but at least he is doing it.

For myself I hit about a dozen liberal blogs every day and fight the fight with the truth. I support the Tea Party movements, GOOOH, etc. The key is to continually work to get the truth out. I have personally blogged for years on AGW, Socialism, Political Correctness, etc...the bottom line is you do what you can do but the key is to use the truth as your weapon and continually expose the frauds for what they are...regardless of parties and that includes George W Bush, etc...

The main task of the NY Conservative Party is to keep the GOP honest. Had any of the other candidates been nominated other than Scozzafava, the Conservative party would have endorsed him/her and we wouldn't have heard a thing about it. Hoffman did well with the help of Republicans this time around, and will likely run as a Conservative AND a Republican next go around, and win. Were he to be ONLY registered as a Conservative, going against a moderately conservative Republican and Owens, he would split the vote with the Republican and Owens would win again. Third party in most cases like this is a loser, and the Socialists are the winner.

And I don't care how many blogs you've blogged on... that isn't the end-all-be-all of informing the public. Until print and mainstream televised media collapses, those are the ways most Americans continue to get news. You mention Glenn Beck... again, he is working through the system

History affords you nothing except that we could maybe win by a civil war. Nice. I'll pass until we've tried working within the political system. Intentional bloodshed at home is a last resort. Besides that, states fighting the elected Congress and President is much different than colonies fighting on home turf against the Crown, half a world away.

In other words, you have no answer as to where money, media, and resources will come from to do as you suggest.

Until you have something concrete, I remain unconvinced, and I suspect most others do too.

What you are saying,advocating, here on this post can really pay off.

Many times I find myself almost automatically taking on the left in venues I never anticipated.

Sometimes the things that come out of my mouth and come almost without thinking scare me,good rational points that I could not have made even five years ago.

its all due to an education here on FR.

We are all capable of that and should all engage if we are not already.
