If true, then say COMMUNISM!!! Do your own survey -- most folks DO NOT know what marxism or a marxist is. I've been doing "on the street" type interviews of folks 16-88. Not one of them could articulate what marxism is and only a few knew who Marx was. Some of the older people had at least a Master's degree.

That was my point. We call them liberals, progressives, marxists, left wing -- they are damn COMMUNISTS! Call them what they are! Until we consistently call them what they are, we lose.

You are sadly correct. The average schmo has never heard of Karl Marx. It is even worse with the word “socialism”. If you don’t call Obama a communist, most of the American public will stare at you blank faced. Thank you NEA for 40 years of “dumbing down” America!
