First of all the issue wasn’t whether there could be consequences, I was merely pointing out that you saying Officers must obey the CIC unquestionably is incorrect.

Now if you want to change the issue to would there be any willing to disobey we can discuss that.

I think if you could ask any of the officers you cited all of themn would say absoutely it was worth it.
I also think we have officers in our military now that would not hesitate to question the lawfulness of any whacked order.

I don't think I ever stated that officers must follow unlawful orders, I just implied that they wouldn't be there unless they followed the orders issued by the President, legal or otherwise.

I first took my Oath to the Constitution in June 1954, so I know the difference between All Lawful orders and Unlawful orders.
