To: Boiling Pots

Another site says wreck was at 2:25 in the morning and he hit a fire hydrant and a tree. The air bags did not deploy, so he was traveling under 33 mph.

As a wild guess, he was either extremely sleepy or possibly intoxicated. Single vehicle accidents at that speed at that time of the morning usually have something else besides just a bad day.

turkey does cause drowsiness so that might have been the cause. Just heard the news on Fox News, praying for a speedy recovery

Not necessarily. The angle of impact has to be within a certain range for the airbags to deploy.

When an angry woman is chasing after you with a golf club that she’s banging on the rear window it’s kind of hard to concentrate on your driving.
