WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree outside of his Isleworth home early on Friday morning, officials said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was seriously injured and taken to Health Central Hospital. The Orange County Fire Department confirmed that a patient was taken to Health Central, but would not confirm that the patient was Woods.
Woods was driving a 2009 black Escalade, FHP said. He hit a fire hydrant outside of his home and a tree outside his neighbor's home.
FHP said the crash is still under investigation.

I was looking for the fire hydrant and then, the tree in the picture and I couldn't find it... LOL ... [I'm guessing it was out on the street...]

That's a very good question. I suspect that On-Star is only notified automatically if airbags are deployed, but I'm not positive about that. In any event, if Tiger called it in himself it would be awfully funny to hear the recording used in one of those On-Star commercials.

I am guessing he was injured before the accident and with no alcohol involved the charges pending may be against someone else? Assault ?

It looks to me like there is one on the front of the oval island in the driveway.

He’s always had that temper — I’ve seen it multiple times when viewing tourneys around here in So. Cal. I’ll say it simply: I don’t like the guy — not a bit. He’s nasty when kids ask for autographs and much more — loud swearing, throwing clubs, etc.
This ‘hero’ is a lot nastier than most of the other pros out there in the golf world. Well, except perhaps for Rory Sabbatini................and he is working on changing his bad behaviors so I hear.
