A new Rasmussen survey shows that President Barack Obama is tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. The poll of 800 likely voters also suggests that a third-party presidential candidate - in this case former CNN broadcaster Lou Dobbs - would help Obama.

Start diggin dirt on Romney so he has to quit any notion of running in 2012. If not, it will be Perot all over again .
The lamestream media also picked “McCain’t”...remember?”
As did the pollsters and the GOP.
And it continues to be true that as long as they know we will ultimately vote for THEIR choice, they will continue to succeed.
I may be missing something here, but what has the “MSM touting Romney” theme got to do with this poll by Rasmussen? Is he now considered an arm of the MSM?

Great idea!!! Let’s run a “moderate” RINO like Romney who won’t offend anyone. He can work with the democrats and reach across the aisle. That worked out real well in ‘08. In fact it worked so well that by 2012 elections may be obsolete. </SARC>

Fix the primary system and we win back the presidency.

Forget the MSM, the Republican Party has it in its power to do this - the question is do they have:
a) the brains to recognize that it needs to be done, and
b) the will to do it.
If the GOP runs a RINO Liberal....there will be a Third Party candidate
If anyone trashes the conservative 3d Party Candidate...or comes up with the lame “Third Party candidates cost the GOP elections”....they are just a supporting a Liberal.
The GOP will run a conservative once it knows that people will not merely vote GOP because it is GOP...or some faux-con talk show host tells them a Third Party candidate cant win...etc
No matter who runs for the GOP, a third-party effort by Dobbs or anyone else on the conservative side will nix any chances for a Republican win in 2012.
