There is one problem with banning talk of the RHINOS...This is the only forum that educates many lurkers on the difference between a rhino and a conservative.

I would not ban the romney/gulliani threads because the posts discussion helps educate many people who need the clarifications.

An overwhelming majority of people who post on FR are adults who either do or should know better by this point in their lives. Ignoring that fact, it isn't FR's mission to educate. FR's purpose is to support Conservatism. Those who aren't adults can learn from their parents. Those who are adults can go to another website.

well...maybe the SHOULD KNOW BETTER, but I am a reformed liberal...in the likes of David Horowitz.That happened many years ago for me, but I was an adult whose values were solid on anti abortion and pro military hawk and pro God.

I still think we are also educational and if we want to bring those who are basically in the ballpark but need the updates. Freeper is a way to SHARE our wealth of information.As the site becomes more and more talked about, more “Libs’ will come on to lurk. And republicans who still believe in RHINOS, can understand WHY this is not a good idea.

Jim’s basic philosophy remains no matter what. The true conservative posters will zot or answer back the arguments on the goofballs.
