Well if you’re going to throw out every Rep that chooses party (Republican Party, that is) loyalty over ...(what’s the alternative you’re expecting from him?)...

what’s gonna be left? Zip, Zilch and Nada.

So, according to you anti-Newters, Newt should have told the NRCC to F-off then. Right? Is that how you would have played it? Really? Cause I’m not even seeing you freepers blaming the NRCC. Just Newt.

Newt believes himself to be a leader. Who and what Scazzafava is is out there. A Leader would have checked who he was backing. Newt either didn't check or did and was ok with a Rino. That is NOT a Conservative leader.

I already said there were posts on FR condemning the actions of the NRCC. There were numerous ones. But Newt and the NRCC both have a dog to hunt in this issue, and neither one trumps the other. The NRCC was wrong to appoint Scozzafava in the first place, and Newt was equally wrong in blindly backing her; especially in the face of determined opposition. Both actions deserve condemnation from conservatives. Both received condemnation. And that's the end of the story.
