It has been a good thread with some very succinct posts.

It's been vindicating to read Jim Rob's postings in this thread which essentially mirror what myself and more than few others have consistently said in recent past. It's a concept that people seem to have trouble with for some reason. But it's very simple. It states that we won't vote for, or support NON-CONSERVATIVES; plain and simple. Whether they be RINOs, or dems, or little green men with flower pots on their heads! If they aren't conservatives, we aren't supporting them.

People who have seen this from us in the past try to read into it and then ask all the same goofy questions they've been asking here in this thread. They ask for us to play out every possible scenario and then want specific instructions, and for some reason our consistent and simple answer seems to confuse them. But the only specific rule is that we won't vote for non-conservatives again. If it comes down to an election and there are only non-conservatives on the ballot, then we'll pencil in a worthy candidate.

Too many people incorrectly view this logic as fatalistic, or even suicidal. They've told us that we're going to bring about the ruination of America and that we'll never get away from creeping socialism. But they fail to see that by supporting non-conservatives such as RINOs that they've enabled creeping socialism to flourish more than anybody! All we're doing is adopting a principle and sticking to it. Yes. We know that it means "Win Big, or Lose Big", and we're good with that. We're NOT afraid. The GOP can bluster and blow and tell us that the sky will fall. We'll all get to see just how that works out very soon, and I'm guessing that it's not going to work out very well for them. 2010 will be interesting. I believe largely it will shape 2012.

These same people also tell us that we will be entirely RESPONSIBLE for the results of a thrown election because we penciled in our choices. I don't go along with this for a number of reasons. First and foremost is the principal of fair warning. Even if I were to do something which was aggressive, immoral and even criminal, but I were to give you fair and ample warning, do you bear any responsibility in thwarting my actions IF you are able? If you are able and you DON'T, then should you have? The voting scenario I envision isn't quite like this though. It's more a mass act of omission rather than one of commission. But it's still moronic for those clinging to the GOP RINOs to believe that WE bear any sort of blame for their leftist losing because we wouldn't support him/her.

In my view, RINO supporters are primarily responsible for creeping socialism (and other societal ills). Worse than this is that they're almost entirely motivated by fear. The proof of this is that once the primaries are over, they're scared to death to tell the GOP to pound sand, and then follow through with a penciled in vote, even if the nominee is a liberal/leftist! Yet, they cry foul at our mention of breaking from this and penciling somebody in? It's simply illogical. But that's the result of fearful people.

I've said before what Jim Rob STRONGLY indicated in this thread, and I'll say it again... Those who are motivated by fear should take notice of the information in this thread. They will soon need to decide which entity they fear more. Will they fear more that their RINO will lose to a slightly more leftward leaning person? Or will they fear us?

If they can simply put fear aside for a moment they would conclude that we're the ones they should fear. I don't know how else to explain it to them, but we're not messing around any more. If the GOP manages to propel RINOs through the process and onto voting ballots, the very worst fears of the fearful people I'm talking about will come true. They might think we're bluffing this time, because last time we gave in and supported McCain for Palin's sake. But this time we'll do no such thing.

People should go over the number of individuals in this thread who support my own particular manner of thought, and then ponder the number of people around them who also think this way. I believe that those in fear, along with the GOP are in for a disappointment in 2010 that can't be imagined at this point.

I hate to put it this way, but we're either going to take the nation back to conservatism and some semblance of the Republic it was originally intended to be, or we're going to take it straight to hell in an accelerated manner. It's not our desire that the nation fall to leftism, but in fair warning to all of those who doubt us, it will be the logical result should we fail. These in fear should bear in mind that incrementalism will be a hindsight by that point. I think that if we fail, the nation will change irreparably (short of something such as civil war) in only a few short election cycles.

Lastly, those who are too fearful to do anything other than support RINOs, even when that's all we're presented with by the GOP, should get the hell out of our way and simply permit us to do what's necessary. I've gotten to the point over the past 15 years or so where I despise cowards. I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate them. But I have no use for them. You can arm them with information, tools, weapons, training, and because they are a fearful coward they'll still do things such as support a RINO because the almighty GOP sticks one in front of them and threatens them with a possible DNC win if they don't support him! No matter how well you equip them, they still lose the fight. The logical action is to put them off to the side, or simply exclude them. They're harmful to any effort involving real risk and potential personal loss. They are an unacceptable liability and every bit as bad as the RINOs they support, albeit for slightly different reasons.

Cowards are worthless...in a military environment, on a baseball field, in parenting situations within the home, and in politics. But they go way below the level of being worthless to point their fingers at us and declare that what's coming will be our fault!

As I indicated before, they'll either get out of our way, stay out of our way and let us do what we need to do, or this nation is taking a short cut to hell. We'll make certain of it simply by ONLY supporting conservatives! If people don't understand these things, we simply can't help them.

Jim, please see #1849...

Nothng can be added. Very well written (along with many others)..and it’s time to stop defending ourselves against those who stil claim to be members of the GOP, and start focusing on the next step. Choosing the next conservative non-compromising candidate.

Yes.

Courage is the test of all virtues. (C.S. Lewis said that.)

Without courage, RINO supporters may as well be enablers and assistants of leftists, because that is exactly what they turn out to be.

RINOS are worse than outright leftists, because they are just gradual leftists, while pretending to be something else. It’s better to be honest than sneaky.
