Same here, but only in petulance since Fred dropped out as he did. That ticked me off. If it hadn't been for the way he handled it, I'd have penciled in his name.
I liked Fred! I hold the GOP in highest contempt right now. They corralled an unsuspecting, unaware constituency before they had time to react and left them with a deplorable lot to choose from!

I was behind Fred from the moment his candidacy was expected. Hunter was my second choice. The reason I picked Fred was his conservatism along with his public face recognition. That’s something Hunter didn’t have. And Hunter simply couldn’t get traction.
But Fred really disappointed me. I never drank the Kook Aid that he dropped out to give McCain the chance, but it left a bad taste in my mouth, anyway. So, I essentially bowed out...until Sarah came along. Then I jumped on the Sarah bandwagon. My Republican vote (for the presidency) was solely due to her. If she hadn’t been on the ballot I’d have written in Hunter.
