If anyone else but Sarah Palin had been on that ticket, I would not have voted at all. Truth be told, I kept imagining a banana peel in some strategic place on a heavily waxed hallway. GOD will forgive me for that, I’m sure.
Having said that, I will never, ever do it again. And I would venture to say that a lot of people who voted for mcsnipe felt exactly the same way and are saying now exactly the same thing. Burn ALL the freaking bridges, because November was the River Kwai and we do not build bridges for our enemies never no more.
Last years election was down to a Rino and a Marxist/Communist so either way we lose. The Marxist won because the Rino did jack sqaut to try to win. The Rino tried to appease so called moderates, but really he was going for Democrats, and Rinos in the Republican party and then when he saw it wasn’t enough he tried a lame attempt to get conservative votes. So he made it easy to be singled out as hypocrite by everyone.
To get that Conservative vote, The Rino put a woman who was very good as his running mate. But then he idiot fed her to the wolves. He didn’t support her, let her do all the attacking, and he then suspended his campaign for a day or two over some lame excuse. And then the Rino lost his Rino support. So then he you knew he was finished. He lost because of himself and not anybody else.
The point is...We should never have a race come down to that again. Palin was the only thing that kept McCain afloat. He should have just sunk and Palin should have been nowhere near it.
Then Palin would have been better off. She is still well off, mind you. But Palin would not have had the baggage that came from running with an idiot Rino. She could have introduced herself to America on her own terms.
So because we had a Rino...it was better that the Rino lose and lose badly to be taught a lesson. But sadly, The Marxist then was elected.
The good thing is that we still have Palin and few others around to keep fighting. My beef is even more with how people then want to tear apart personalities within the movement and fight between them. But, they make it too easy.
Beck says something then Levin jumps on it. But the reality is we ave to unity around a conservative in 2012 or we watch Obama win again. Simple as that. If we fight then we watch Rino steal the nomination.
