OK. Because it was the GENERAL election. The Republican primary was past. BTW, I supported the far more conservative Republican but he lost so my choices in the GENERAL election was between RINO Ganske, which I didn't care for but my guy lost so I was stuck. There was NO other choice at that point except for Ganske and Harkin.
Please tell me if you think I did the right thing by voting for Ganske or do you think I should have voted for Harkin or do you think I should have not voted at all?

Look. I can appreciate being between a rock and a hard place. We have been there for so long now, it’s almost like battered wife syndrome. That is why it HAS to change.
A few years ago, I would have done exactly what you did. But I have since learned that those things did not help at all. It only made things worse.
Conservatives have got to draw a line in the sand and we have to do it NOW. Our chances are running out. The leadership is ruffled now, and it is because we have gotten militant. They can’t shut us up or shut us down anymore.
We have stopped bringing knives to a gunfight. And we can’t let up. Not for a minute.

It's unlikely you'll get a straight answer to this question (RINO vs Dem), because this is an emotional thread, not a political or practical thread...
...the answer is, as always, in the General vote for the candidate CLOSEST to your own personal views...anyone who says otherwise is merely an ideologue...magritte
