Take out Dorgan and Pomeroy next year and Conrad will be an easier target in ‘12. He wouldn’t have his job without Dorgan. It’s time for a revolution in North Dakota.

Hoeven would beat Dorgan, and a good candidate would beat Pomeroy if only due to Hoeven’s coattails. Ed Schafer or some other mustached Republican current or former statewide officeholder can go after Conrad in 2012. (ND is the one state where the candidate with the mustache doesn’t start off with a 3% disadvantage.
