Caller: Thank you for taking my call. I'm pondering the unemployment numbers and this healthcare bill with the mandate. I'm wondering if this will exacerbate the prison overpopulation problem?

Caller: If there's over 10 percent unemployment, I don't think American prisons handle that many people can they?
Host: Will people have to steal to pay their healthcare? What are you saying?
Caller: If they fail to meet the mandate they get thrown in prison.
Host: He's only half facetious, I think. This will be a real requirement. What happens if people can't or don't pay?
David Cutler: We don't usually throw people in jail for this. What happens in Massachusetts is if you don't purchase healthcare you pay some financial penalty.
It sounds like the host is clueless about Pelosi's throw people in prison mandate. But this is an interesting question.(I'd say the host dodged the question, but if they just don't know that this is in the bill then they'd naturally only look at it through the lens of standard media talking points)
Has Nancy really thought this through? Does she really want to throw all those people in jail for not buying healthcare?

probably all unemployed with be automatically put on Medicaid, food stamps, welfare, etc. That way the remaining workers can pay for them, until they too are unemployed. Recycle until collapse of the country. These are devout marxists - total economic collapse is the goal, not the serf’s health and well-being.

Those who have no property will be given a pass on jail, their paychecks will just go to the government.
Those with no job and no assets at all will get a pass and access to a waiting list for "health care", can't get blood from a turnip.
If it is discovered that they divested themselves of wealth to beat the government, they will be denied the waiting list.
When the numbers and noise, are too large to manage, the death camps will open, just as in Stalin's Russia, Mao's China and Pol Pot's Cambodia.
That will be the final "health care" solution. The numbers will make Mao look like a piker.

Here’s an idea—perhaps being placed onto the Obamacare rolls can be offered as an execution choice for those on death row.
Isn’t the penalty 5 years in jail and or some crazy outlandish fine like $25 thousand dollars if you don’t buy insurance?
And it’s not just pelosi, it’s obama too. He was asked if he thought it was ok to put people in jail if they didn’t pay for insurance and his long drawn out answer basically boiled down to a yes.

Once someone gets fined and jailed for not paying for the NObama Care, will they lose their right to vote in the future?

When the tax revenues from form 1040 start to arrive on April 15th, 2010, the current administration will panic.
I foresee them confiscting all 401 K’s, Keogh’s, and other IRA accounts.

If you get thrown in prison than the state has to pay for your health care. Somehow I think that cost got thrown out of Pelosi’s calculations.
If they do lock people up for not having insurance, that will be a pay back to the Prison Worker Unions. These unions support tough laws against all kinds of “crimes.”
