Excerpt can not do justice to another outstanding article by VDH. Too bad he's not a US politician. But I guess telling the truth consistently disqualifies him from the job.

If we have to pay foreign lenders 5 percent to 7 percent interest on our debt, as in the past, the increased costs will gobble up additional billions from our annual budget. Yet sadly again, we are missing this rare opportunity of low interest to pay off cheaply the trillions that we already owe. Instead, we are borrowing even more!

The people in charge of our government are pathetic morons who walk around with their heads up their asses. They ignore our real problems so they could reward their green friends and grab more power for themselves. It will be a long year before we can rid ourselves of these scumbags.

And to that add a PS. There is nothing in the wings to encourage businesses and individuals to create new products and services and thus to create new jobs. In fact, everything the current administration is doing or contemplating will do just the opposite, discourage such activity. Sad, but true.

It’s long past time to “flush the toilet” in Washington, D.C.

It’s not just DC. Many big businesses are enthusiastic partners of big government. My local private utility just joined a carbon offset lobbyist coalition set up by the Natural Resources Defense Council (or whatever they call themselves). Rather than joining the Chamber of Commerce, they’re spending millions to support the fraud.
I’m beginning to think that only a patriotic military coup is enough to shock this country out of its mess. I think that nearly all meaningful institutions have joined with the madness.

The rich will at first, move to low tax states, and eventually, leave the country.

What obama and his cohorts in Congress are doing are not what a government does when it wants to revive and strengthen a nation and its economy.
The obama Co. business model is to set us up for the fall and then let nature take its course.
It reminds me of a once healthy, robust body now weakened by internal parasites, leeches and blood sucking insects.
It's only a matter of time before a minor infection comes along and kills it. Such is the way of socialism.

Speaking to the first item you’ve mentioned: Avista, the inland Northwest utility serving the Spokane area has declared its support for cap-and-trade. Evidently, they’ve calculated that they’ll make out like bandits. Scum.
As to the second item, I agree. It will take nothing less that military intervention to rid ourselves of the new totalitarians who now control the apparatus of the American state. Military intervention and a general ‘housecleaning’ of Biblical proportions. When it goes down, as I expect that it will, it’s going to be an all-in bet for all of us. In terms of preparedness, I think I’m holding a pretty good hand.

You’re whistling past the graveyard of our Republic. Fair and free elections are a thing of the past. Check your premises. You’ll find that many of them don’t apply to what Glenn Beck calls the ‘new paragigm.’

Taxation...obviously has nothing to do with “tax revenue” but with solidifying the “purchase” of the Federal gov’mt by the oligarchy.
