The mere mention of the words "White House cover-up" quickly started the snowball down the hill to RMN's self-imposed resignation.
Now the cover-ups are so numerous, involving so many people that it's impossible to keep track of the criminality of this administration. Most would-be watchdogs have been emasculated and muzzled, and few such guardians live even near what can be considered the mainstream media.
Ladies and germs, we're already no longer in the same America in which baby boomers grew up!

I have been avoiding Obamatv by watching old videos of the Monicagate scandal. The Sunday show commentators: Russert, Donaldson, Cokie Roberts, etc, and Chris Matthews were incensed at the President’s behavior and his work at cover-up.
As you said, there is none of that kind of perspective from the leftjournalists today.
