That's true, but they may have had very good reasons for doing so. They could have received some sort of official rebuke instead, but that may have killed future prospects for promotion in elite units. They may also have felt that the principles at stake were worth taking a stand for. There decision reflects confidence in their fellow soldiers, that they will reach the right decision.
A caller to Rush this morning said this was was a payback by the Obama administration for the SEALs who killed the Somali pirates who had kidnapped the American ship captain.
Apparently Zero was not pleased by their heroic actions so he had to make an example of some others to show who is in control.
The caller seemed to know what he was talking about.
