I'm not a soldier, but I don't think this is an issue of being politically correct. It's an issue of military discipline. The crime the man committed—killing four American civilian security guards, mutilating their bodies, and then celebrating while his followers strung their dead bodies over a road way—is completely disproportionate to his beef with the US military—receiving a fat lip from a navy seal. Nonetheless, the seals have to maintain discipline. They could have been given a rebuke, but they've challenged that and asked for a court martial trial. I hope they are acquitted, but the officer in charge probably had no choice but to proceed with the trial as a matter of military discipline.
Exactly - they are TRAINED to do this.
The Seals say they didn't hit him - that's good enough for me.
Not only am I sick to death of seeing these dam* headlines assuming the seals, not the barbarian, are lying - but it is a STRICT rules in journalism NEVER to state that the accused is guilty - but "alleged" - until a court says otherwise.
The dam* lib press are gleefully running with this - none of them even posturing that the Cretin did it himself.
It's criminal enough that,now, with the Traitor in Chiefs new rules of engagement, if a soldier captures a barbarian on the battlefield, has to read him his Mirandas!

I'm sure he didn't surrender willingly. When several people are trying to restrain a perp, in this case a terrorist, arms, hands and legs will be flying around. Anyone could get hurt from that. Frankly I could give two $hits if they gave him a bloody lip. They should have beat him to a bloody pulp!!
Today on Rush's show, some former military guy said he heard that these charges were in retaliation for the Navy Seals who failed to follow Obama's rules of engagement in the April shooting of 3 Somali pirates after they took Captain Phillips hostage. I can believe that. Afterall, those shot were muslims, and we all know that Obama has hissy fits when he doesn't get his way.
