Which is it? Did the SC hear one of these cases or did they send them back down to a lower court? It's one or the other you can't have it both ways.

It's neither. In each of the 9 eligibility cases to reach the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court denied certiorari, which means that the Supreme Court refused to hear the case and the decisions of the lower courts (which had all dismissed challenges to Obama's eligibility) stood. All 9 decisions were without a single recorded dissent.
