From the article, you'll notice that the Navy and Iraqi lawyers are staging a little dog and pony show. "...the detainee was turned over to Iraqi authorities, to whom he made the abuse complaints. He was then returned to American custody."
Even the pretense of prosecuting the SEALs for the war criminal PW's accusation about a bloody lip is wrong. The publicity will come back to bite the Iraqi government and nitpicking lawyers in general.

It was the same corps of JAG weenies who let OBL get away early in the Afghanistan war, when he was spotted by an armed Predator.
They had to kick it around DC for a few hours getting permission, because of the JAG pu$$ies. By the time they finished dithering, OBL was long gone.
