his “house arrest” is in gstaad - about 70 km from the frech border (by car) - the town next over is Saanen and has a small airport ...
this will be real hard for him to escape these draconian measures to hold him in switzerland ....
and only a twenty minute train ride from France where he can disappear and spend a comfortable retirement

A Swiss court has accepted film-maker Roman Polanski’s plea to be freed on bail from a Swiss jail where he is being held for a US child sex case.

Let’s see here....Polanski said he was sorry for having run. OK, I’m a compassionate conservative, and I believe him. But , ya know? Any sentence at all will bea life sentence for poor old Roman, so I’m afraid we will just have to keep him locked up. And being a compassionate conservative, I don’t want him worrying about sex with 13 year old girls anymore, so I will put him in with the homosexuals so he and they won’t be tempted.
Has Hollywood started the fundraisers for the bail money yet? Wouldn’t want to have him put up (forfeit) his own money, after all.
