I would suspect that various people are now rushing to delete their emails...but it’s probably too late.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, these "geniuses" failed to consider that noticeable gaps in their backup email records are just as damning as erasing them all.

Criminals are always tripped up by their cleverness.

The comments section on zerohedge updates that it was probably a whistleblower.

Just listening to Dr. Tim Ball and if his understanding of UK law is correct, the difference is extremely important. If the material was hacked, UK courts will not allow it. If from a whistleblower, it is admissible. Which would explain why Gavin and others from Day One insisted "Hackers" probably "Russian Hackers" did it.

“Russian Hackers” isn’t being used anymore except as a possibility”

Maybe they meant to write about how the “hackers were RUSHING to get this to the BBC for a hot story”—that they sat on and tried to bury six weeks ago.

That is the proverbial smoking gun. The computer model from which that code and comments were taken, at least, is not a model at all, but an outright fraud.

(Though "trick. . . to hide" is pretty d*amning, too.)
