There is nothing to fear. I just checked Wikipedia and Mt. Everest is still 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) above sea level. The actual level of the sea has not risen. We are being lied to again. That's only because the rise in our oceans (from melting ice) is offset by water lost when our oceans drain off the edge of the world.

That's only because the rise in our oceans (from melting ice) is offset by water lost when our oceans drain off the edge of the world. I was thinking of the possibility that Global Warming was causing the all extra water from ice cap melt to evaporate.
