The good people of the DC Chapter help those folks at Walter Reed with their hard work and emotional support they show outside every Friday night.
They collect money and buy goods for the troops and their families. They purchase a wide range of items from toys and games to toiletries, clothes and so on. They put them on a table, and the troops and their families don’t even have to ask. They can walk right up and take what they need or want, no questions asked.
If you want to donate, you can go to http://www.dcchapter.com/ and give there. Those DC chapter folks are some of the finest, most dedicated people I know, and the troops really appreciate them.
Apparently, we cannot control what Obama does anymore, but we can help the troops at Walter Reed...:)
