All I did was state a fact that this persecution of soldiers for doing a hard job, is a continuation of things that happened during the last Presidents term. Do you commonly attack posters for stating facts?

I have no derangement syndrome. I voted for Bush twice, and with the choice of Kerry or Gore am glad I did.

The real problem with the course of this country is party worship. Republicans will not and cannot save us from this financial and political mess that oozes poison from DC. At least not until they are made to face the fact that we either return the govt to the size authorized by the Constitution, or we die. Either party as currently configured, there is no other way out if we want to retain our Liberty. If you cannot see that far, what are you doing on this forum...Cheerleading?

I prefer to discuss ways of making things better, and not allowing the past to be airbrushed away. It is important that we remember that things haven't been really going well in this country for a lot longer than 1 year. They haven't been right since FDR started this train on the downhill track, and the Republicans have gotten on board and begun to party along with the libs.

I don't believe for a second that Bush was malevolent towards our defenders, he was just blindly loyal to the people whose 1st duty was to be truthful to him.

They weren't. Unlike Bush, they had ambitions far past their trusting boss, and they were not loyal to anyone or anything other than their own ambitions, and they took his hand up the ladder to be weakness, so the next step was right on the top of his head.

GWB is a sensitive man, as we all saw that day when a camera found him hugging a child that lost her dad to one of the freaks that Obama is giving an audience to, and he is not a stupid man.

I've tried to imagine how I would feel if I had thrown away all the good things I had done by 'effing over our defenders, and maybe I would become a recluse, as he apparently has.
