This happened after he was already captured and incapacitated.

Also not part of any interrogation it appears.

Thus, I can see some punishment, but a talking to would suffice.

This is absurd taking them to trial over it.

The SEALS chose the trial by declining the Captains Mast.

It’s basically an “either or” type of situation.

Apparently they believe they have a good reason for declining the Non-judicial punishment and choosing a trial.
