Even though we have focused upon homosexual behavior, heterosexual misconduct is not any less a sin than homosexual misconduct. Every once in a while I hear of a Lutheran pastor that engages in some sort of homosexual activity, but by far and away the main problem is with pastors having sexual affairs with married women. If they are caught, they are immediately removed and defrocked. I had a good friend in the ministry that was caught having an affair with a member of his congregation. He is now working for his dad raising chickens.
