Well, since they’re probably counting the mayors of cities like Wide Spot, AR, and since there are 18,000 cities and towns in the US, saying 500 mayors favor this is like saying 17,500 oppose it. Someone on the RIGHT side of this issue should buy an ad saying THAT.

500 is approximately 2.8 per cent of the total number of mayors.
I would be embarrassed to brag about only 500 mayors agreeing with my plan.
But it looks good in print on the front page of pravda.
