With even mainstream media outlets like WaPo starting to get onboard the Sarah Palin 2012 train, it's time for conservatives to unite behind her. When leftest news outlets like the WaPo even hint that Palin could win the GOP nomination, then you can bet that they really perceive her as devisive and unlikely to dethrone the 0bama in the general election. They want her to win the nomination because they think she's the weakest candidate in the general election.

I hope they are as successful with Sarah.

I remember that Carter was happy that Reagan won the GOP nomination in 1980 because President Peanut thought that Reagan was another Goldwater and could be beaten easily. We know how that worked out.

The democrats and media did everything they could to destroy Palin as a Govenor starting just after the election last year. They didn’t do this to advance her prospects as the Republican nominee.

(The movie Valkyrie was excellent...I was surprised. What a cast.)

This was an article in the commentary of the WaPo, written by a former GWB campaign manager. It is not an editorial position of the WaPo.
