This morning Graeme Campbell, former Member of Parliament for Kalgoorlie, was waiting outside the Senate entrance to Parliament House. He has a full cleared security pass, but he was refused entry by the The Black Rod of the Senate. Security tried to take the copies of The Skeptics Handbooks, effectively confiscating Campbells private property. When Campbell pointed this out, they returned them, but would still not allow him in. “Meanwhile emails are flying in from citizens demanding a stop or at least a delay to this massive irreversible legislation based on fraudulent science and an audacious bureaucratic bluff.”
It actually plays right into the CRU Hack.
Liberalism is so busy trying to destroy everything, that they eventually got around to themselves...
OOF!
It would be a riot, but for the fact that the MPs are saying it isn’t reversible.

He may be called a Liberal but, in fact, in Australia that’s (supposed to be) the conservative party. That’s partly why I’m so mad at them. They seem to be lost their senses, or at least their appalling leader, Malcolm Turnbull, has. Firstly, he’s obviously in the wrong party and, secondly, he’s hung his leadership hat on ramming this through and is determined to do so in the teeth of much of his party. If anything, he’s acting like a shill for the Labor government.
Actually, until they expelled him in 1995, Campbell was Labor, ie the centre-left party: although Campbell was well to the right of most Labor reps (heck he was and is well to the right of Malcolm Turnbull) - think Reagan Democrat.
