I find it amusing that his ingratitude to his adoptive parents was rewarded with information that he would really rather not have found.
That's why my wife never has never had any interest whatsoever in searching for her birth family.
She knows her real family are the ones who adopted an otherwise unwanted infant, and loved her, and raised her, and educated her; and that to search out the birth family would be a dishonor to her parents.
