A top adviser on Hispanic issues to John McCains presidential campaign said Sunday that a joint interview with McCain and Sarah Palin planned for Univision last fall had to be canceled because Palin was unprepared to discuss Latin America policy.
She did not feel comfortable speaking about issues regarding Hispanics and Latin America, GOP consultant Ana Navarro told Univision anchor Jorge Ramos in an interview. Those are not topics that come up frequently in Alaska. So she asked to cancel the interview and, unfortunately, you were already there.

this is the policy keep your people over there and well keep our people over here!!!! hows that for policy
Well, let’s see, she really had a lot of Hispanic issues to deal with in Alaska, eh? She’s right on the most important issue: secure the border.
The McCain camp is complaining that they did not know that Sarah was against amnesty for illegals..are they serious, are they F’n serious. Bunch of dumb asses. It’s on record
So what exactly is a “Latino issue”? Who has the best price on tripa, Food Giant or IGA?
Latino issues? BWAHAHAHA! Screw ‘em!
Sarah Palin is informed on American issues and American values. That is what matters to this American.
Navarro -
First of all, Governor Palin didn't exactly beg to be the running mate. It was McCain that approached her, not the other way around.
Second of all, McCain would have lost in a landslide had Palin not been on the ticket.
Finally - she was already famous and starting to become popular as Governor of Alaska, and she would have finished her term in peace and THEN run for President in her own right. She may have not been rich, but she wouldn't have had to go through the character assassination and lies told about her either.
Correction:
Insider: Jonathan Martin uninformed on Sarah Palin issues
More BS from Johnathan. Could it possibly have been Sarah didn’t support John McCain’s stand on the Latino problems.
Oh, and I suppose 0 is, what with Honduras, Venezuela, Brazil, etc.
The issues are simple: no to amnesty, stop feeding the corrupt governments down there, help people through trade of goods and services. And ignore everything that laraza says, they are bunch of communists. If she has any more questions, ask sheriff Joe.
But there were numerous issues about Latin America that came up during Obama’s community organizational work so he was very aware
that community is unaware of AMERICAN ISSUES
No doubt Obama refereed disputes between Blackstone Nation and MS13.
They should have done the interview with just McCain....they were NOT joined at the hip during the campaign...by any means.
She was/is wholeheartedly against illegal immigration...period. For the purposes of that audience, they would not want her there...period. Whoever (on the McCain campaign) set up that joint interview just plain screwed up — just like most of the campaign.
I think she understands that illegal immigrants do not belong on American soil, period. That is all the “Latino issues” needed to understand.
Is that like “doesn’t know what to do about illegal aliens?”
Methinks she knows exactly what to do.
As for the those to our south, we’ve got our own problems trying to avoid electing the same types of idiot leaders that got them into their problems.
I find it highly unlikely that Sarah Palin is uninformed on Latino issues.
They are trying so hard to trash Sarah, and it all rolls off her back like seal oil. They have no boogyman, Bush is gone, no Rep majority anywhere, no presidential hopeful, Newt, LOL, Romney, LOL, Huckster, LOL. Who do they fear? Sarah, she has the draw, she has the momentum, she is real people, she is you and me. The libs fear us for that, they fear Americans. Because, America will not accept losers and their loser ways. And we’ve had it up to here with liberal losers. Sarah is the real deal. Poor libs, I have no pity for them. They’re making their bed, hopefully they’ll all move to Europe.
