Excellent point. I spend a lot of time comparing myself to the great founders. I’m sure others here do the same. It is humbling. One likes to think “I’d have been like that” if I had lived then. I would be like Adams, or Paul Revere, or Jefferson. But the truth is even then many were called but few answered, and only a small fraction with the power, clarity and leadership of our founders.
Without those qualities we have a movement without leaders. That’s not going to get the job done. Time to man up, (he says to self). It’s harder than it seems, isn’t it.
