"SNL's awakening is a sign that Obama's honeymoon is over,"

Not if you watched the skit. Obama is still dating.

Oh... my... God.

That was devestating. The first Obama skit they did was essentially attacking him from the Left (No socialized health care yet? No carbon tax yet? blah, blah, blah.) This one was just an all-out attack. I’m starting to think Tina Fey might be serious when she said she would vote for Sarah Palin.

I thought it was very bad taste. Encouraged that the libs at SNL are even seeing what a bad president this is, but I don't like our president being made fun of in this manner. I know they did it to Bush relentlessly but that still doesn't it make it right now. We've become a bad skit on SNL and I am very sad for that.

I do not watch SNL but decided to try it one night to see what all the hubbub is about. Truly and not kidding, I almost puked! It was so degrading and STUPID. It was like watching nasty five year olds only with grownup bodies and perspectives. My stomach still turns when I think about that 20 minutes I wallowed in their sewage of depravity.

These people should be ashamed of how degrading and again STUPID that they are. The word that best fits their display of nearly mindless nastiness is debauchery, pure and simple. If people want themselves to take in swine swill for their souls, then by all means, watch SNL.

Offensive but so funny too! Might ping my wife, but not my daughter.

(I have NEVER seen SNL before, but have been to China and dealt with translators at official functions -- these folks capture the essence of it pretty well, though I had to work through translators going both ways.)

I agree with you about the degrading element of this clip. It would have been just as good (if not better) without it. But this is all I have ever seen of SNL, and probably all I ever will because at home I just don’t watch teeheevee anymore (with extremely rare exception for American football).

I’ve seen the sketch but listened to it again today on Rush and was amazed at how the audience ‘didn’t’ laugh during the big zing lines - either they were mesmerized or they had no clue about the jokes...either way, that was scary.

Man-o-man, what have we here?

You have to know that oBOWma was not happy with that skit. Betcha he talked dirtier than the ballerina!

I’d say the honeymoon is over.

Its impossible for anything to be “too degrading” when it comes to oBOWma.

I know a lot of folks fret about the dignity of the office and all that, but making fun of the president is about as American as it gets. And when the President himself is an anti-American pinko lout, that mockery is all the more deserved. Kudos to the reliably left-wing SNL for finally getting it right!

Your right it is bad taste. But it sums how I am feeling at the moment. Having programs that change the very essence of our country foisted upon me as I scream no over and over again. I’ll change the tagline soon enough, sooner than this bad SNL skit ends.

It was surely crude, but also completely relevant.

We must pray for our country, and oil our weapons...

Funny stuff, steph.

Yet I find it sad the republic's mainstream himbos & bimbos must find out what's really going down via the braindead at SNL.

Does Comcast really know what they're getting into by acquiring this pariah of a network? Good grief.
