Just hours after Sen. Charles Grassley and Rep. Darrell Issa released a report Friday on their investigation into the abrupt firing of AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin, the Obama White House gave the lawmakers a trove of new, previously-withheld documents on the affair. It was a twist on the now-familiar White House late-Friday release of bad news; this time, the new evidence was put out not only at the start of a weekend but also hours too late for inclusion in the report.

How long before we have a special prosecutor?
What a disgusting bunch is in charge of our country. Do we actually have to wait until 2010 to take it back? What about impeachments all over the place?
I think the title 18 section 371 statute about conspiracy is applicable in this matter. The object of the conspiracy can be any attempt to obstruct, impair or impede any lawful function of government. Furthermore, this may further qualify as an obstruction charge. Either are enough as the basis for a “high crime (felony) for impeachment IMO.
Calling Mr. Holder. When you get done trying the KSM matter on your desk in in the impenetrable area between your ears, how about we get a special prosecutor rolling on this one. I got just the one: Robert Bork.
