Saturday, two senators from Texas voted against Reid's Obamascare bill, California sent two votes FOR.
We're doing our part, even though the filthy vermin have been streaming in from California and yankeeland.
I'd appreciate even a 10% conservative vote from a California senator, rather than have a good conservative lose in an unwinnable state.
Do you think Ronald Reagan himself would win if he were running for a California senate seat today?
Maybe so, but they (will) impact the whole country, not just CA. This race should be of interest to all outside of CA as it has an impact at the National level, not just the state level.
It would be in all of our interests to educate ourselves about who's running and support the most conservative candidate.

Do you think Ronald Reagan if he were re-incarnated could win today's California Governor? Senator? Could Barry Goldwater win in California?
No, I'd say. The problem is that conservatism DOES NOT win every time it's tried, unfortunately.
Just picking the most conservative candidate without regard to the fact that California is a communist bastion means we play into Reid's hand rather than give him more problems.
Are you saying you want the GOP to “select” our candidates for us just so we can give Dirty Reid “problems”?
If so, then your way of thinking is a major part of the problem. The people need to take back control of our states and nation and the first place to start is by selecting our candidates not some good ole boys club doing it for us.
If you’re not with us, then move out of the way and let us deal with our problems.
As for the communist bastion comment. You might have more positive interaction amongst FReepers by being less misanthropic.

Snips: HPs famous Carly Fiorina .......................is known for removing them (jobs) while CEO.
There is a noticeable negative sediment from HP employees; Ive had many callers to my show state that they are none to pleased with Fiorinas managerial skills. Many callers reference her Compaq deal and decision to outsourcing jobs to India, while hundreds of American HP employees packed their boxes for the exits.
She has made comments that are seen to be supportive of President Obamas stimulus, and bailout packages.
Worse yet, she has referenced the last frontier of true free speech the Internet as a territory that needs to be submitted to government oversight and regulation.
Yes. California passed a ban on gay marriage only a year ago. In 2002, Bill Simon, a conservative Republican, narrowly lost the governor's chair despite the fact that he was being undermined by Bush appointees in the CAGOP and ran a horrible campaign. Our real problem here is our own "leadership."
I'm going to place some of DeVore's comments on Carly here so others can evaluate them for themselves:
On Carlys comments in the past, Devore references her columns in the business trade magazines.
She says shes against the stimulus, but if you read the trade publications that she has written for, she has said things like (about Obamas stimulus) her comment that no money went to bio-tech and it all went to roads, or she also said that it was good that millions went to the broadband industry.
On Carlys support of Cap and Trade, DeVore references her bi-partisan stance with Senator Lyndsey Graham.
She has said good things about Cap and Trade, and praised Senator Lyndsey Grahams supposedly bi-partisan work with John Kerry, one of the most liberal members of the Senate, over his Cap and Trade energy tax; that Barbara Boxer is now pushing through Congress.
On Carlys support of government regulation of the Internet, DeVore mentions her desire for more regulations.
She was very clearly asked by the interviewer; do you believe there needs to be more government control, and or regulation of the Internet? And you heard her with her own words that she is for more government oversight of the Internet.
Theres big difference between regulating content and free speech on the Internet and going after actual criminals. You see, anything that is illegal in real life is still illegal online, like child pornography. Is she intimating that women need protection from free speech online? Or that a woman that voluntarily agrees to be photographed in certain suggestive posses, that she needs protection from big government; to come in and tell her that she shouldnt do that? With free speech comes personal responsibilities.
While all eyes are on the GOPs gubernatorial fight, if Chuck DeVore can raise enough money, and gain enough media attention, the GOPs US Senate race may display the best fireworks.
Early on it is Carly acting like she is the only player in the elephants room, focusing her statements on Barbara Boxer. Thats good strategy. But DeVore will need to be addressed, He is well connected, well supported and he owns the Tea Party Patriots passion, and respect.
Let the games begin.
Fiorina model coming soon!
Mark
Just what bankrupt and failing California and the United States needs in the Senate, right?
ping to BibChr — you used to work for this person, si?
Si, claro.
And not con felicidad.
)c:
Fiorina got THOUROUGHLY PUNKED with the PUMAS and now the RNC expects us to support this con artist?
...don’t think so.
GOHMS.
Yes, because in the last 2 years, Carly has spent about 300,000 of her own money to support the GOP and probably raised several million more.
Fiorina probably saved the US PC industry. Compaq and HP had to merge as there was not room for both. Carly forced the merger, dumped capacity, fired a ton of workers which resulted in a strong HP, and a empty shell called Compaq, but it needed to be done. The alternative would have been 2 competitors killing each other.
GM had to kill Oldsmobile to keep Buick alive and Fiorina had to kill Compaq to keep HP alive.
Add me to the ping list please....I am doing some vlounteer work for Chucks campaign
Whatever the outcome between Fiorina and DeVore, Boxer must, can, and should go. Besides, what did anyone expect Fiorina to say about her opponent? That he's some kind of a scumbag?
Will do. Welcome aboard.
