An 18-year-old North Las Vegas man has been released from University Medical Center after an alleged exchange of gunfire that left a Metro Police officer dead Thursday morning at his North Las Vegas home.
Prentice Marshall, 18, was booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center, along with Saul Williams, Jr., 20. A 17-year-old boy also was arrested in the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Officer Trevor Nettleton, a three-year veteran at Metro. Gang charges have been added to all three.
Marshall left UMC about 7 a.m. today, police said. He has been charged with one count each of murder with a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement, conspiracy to commit robbery with a gang enhancement and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon.

A 17-year-old male (should have left out the boy, he is no "boy"..makes it come off as still holding on to some youthful innocence).
