Haven’t I been saying that all along? If you want to argue with someone, take it across the street.
Buccaneer is right. If you can’t be bothered to write well, don’t pretend you are a writer.
Well I ain't a writter.
One well-known personality who was irked by the hyphen was Sir Winston Churchill. A keen student of the English language, Sir Winston told a government official one day, One must regard the hyphen as a blemish to be avoided wherever possible.
He put it even more vividly later on when he went on to tell how it should be used. My feeling is that you may run them together or leave them apart, except when Nature revolts.
“If you want to argue with someone, take it across the street.”
Kinda full of yourself aren’t you? And the answer to this “Havent I been saying that all along?” is no.
You’ve presented facts about the Pilgrims but nothing about the fact that Jamestown was here first and had had several “days” of thanksgiving.
I’ll refrain from posting my initial thought at your arrogant remark. For now.
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving. (Tell Mensa hello)
