Just know that everyone on our corner and thousands more across the USA are actively supporting our wounded warriors, our troops and their families.
See our 9/11 After Action Report, when about 800 patriotic Americans showed up on that Friday night to show their support.
God Bless your husband and you.
Thanks. It’s nice to know how many people out there who do support their actions. I also realize that there are people out there who don’t support the war but not because they view our military badly. I just can’t imagine the psychological stress those must be dealing with who are fighting now in Iraq or Afghanistan, considering who their CIC is now. The idea of risking my life for a cause that my own CIC doesn’t believe in and my country voted for him, would be more than I could deal with I think. It’s no different than the last few years in Vietnam where guys were going to fight and die for what they were being told was a lost cause. Who wants to die for a lost cause? I don’t believe it’s a lost cause at all. I don’t understand why Obama doesn’t do a troop surge in Afghanistan like what was done in Iraq and let our military do what it needs to do. Once we go to war, the country needs to be behind it until the end or else the demoralizing effect to our military will last for decades just like how our military was so demoralized after Vietnam. That’s the worst aspect of all of this I sometimes think and my anger towards the left grows and grows and grows.
