The POINT of Sov Movement is that TEXANS are TIRED of the mindset that their lives should be determined by what some politician DOES for them.
The point is we are tired of being told WHAT to do.

I spent 7 months in Richmond, VA, which was (obviously) the heard of the Confederacy.
If the CSA had won the war, the poor southerners would’ve been subjected to the most incompetent government ever to talk the face of the earth, who was saddled with massive debts it could not hope to repay.
A couple of decades before that, Texas’ government collapsed under the weight of its own debt, which partially explained its return to the Union in 1865.
What I’m saying is that if you want to seceed from the Union, that it has been done before, and you better’d be ready for economic chaos. Oh, and whether the tyrants come from Austin or DC, there will always be people telling you that you can’t do whatever you wanna do.
