When Smith recognizes how blatantly corrupt some politicians are, he heads to the Lincoln Memorial planning to leave the nation’s capital after the media and his fellow Senators (& the critics) have disgraced his name. His secretary, Clarissa Saunders, meets him there and she notes the following about Senator Paine and Jim Taylor, two of Smith’s highest-profile critics:

Re-write: Mrs. Smith is given a choice. She can return to her home state and try to repair the damage to her reputation that was caused by the accusations lobbed at her or she can return to the American people and fight for her honor, truth, justice and the new American way [write a book].

We are no more racist than Reverends Wright, Sharpton, Jackson, President Obama and his wife Michelle. I include the blacks that voted for Obama because of race alone. Our country is being destroyed from within by a diverse blood sucking element that we conservatives and Christians let take over by trying to be sensitive to their needs. Screw them and let them die I say, they are going to do the same to us every chance they get.
