The FBI and IRS are investigating Rothstein regarding an alleged $1 billion Ponzi scheme run from his office at the Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler law firm. The firm has been placed in the hands of a court-appointed receiver serving now as chief restructuring officer.

The Rothstein story has been fascinating. It’s the South Florida regional version of Bernie Madoff crossed with Tony Montana. I am hoping it will take out Crist - and considering their ham-handed initial acknowledgment - it looks like it may do the trick.
