Actually, the amnesty bills of 2006 and 2007 were brought to the floor and defeated because they could not get 60 votes, with Reid presiding both times.
One out of how many? And I mentioned “ under the current regime” which would include our gutless president, making it a grand slam for the Dems. IMHO
