Ping for later. The current line is that the university can not vouch for the accuracy of the stolen emails. The MSM is going to run with this.
Compare with The Pentagon Papers. Did anyone ever get away with claiming that since they were stolen they might not be authentic. No. It would have been a pathetically stupid claim, and the media would have ridiculed it.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot the absurd is given full creedence.

It seems the hacked material is considered legitimate, which was probably the first hurdle to get over. Rush mentioned this Friday, but tread lightly around it because the information was so new. I expect he and his global warming consultants will have lot to say about it this coming week.

...what’s even more astounding is that he won two oscars and a nobel prize for his global warming “work”...but then again those two organizations are run by liberals FOR liberals...how else could any reasonable person explain obama, gore and arafat winning nobel prizes, yet not awarding one to reagen who liberated 500 million people from behind the iron curtain

You forgot to cite the key issue: Research on the agenda is worth mucho dinero in funding.
This all sounds like a weak, unbelievable plot for a SyFy made-for-tv or straight-to-DVD movie.
