US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada speaks to senators who will appear on the Sunday morning talk shows in his Senate office in Washington, DC. The US Senate, torn along party lines, voted to formally launch debate on historic legislation to enact President Barack Obama's signature drive to remake US health care, handing him a win for now. HA! Is that Mark Twain behind him? Does Reid know what he wrote about Congress?

Yes, this action passed in the middle of the night on a weekend. They were elected to represent the interests of the electorate. These people ceased to do that a long time ago and only serve their self interest. Each of these individuals should be tarred and feathered and road out of town on a rail.

We thought the Repubs were bad for increasing the national debt. They do not hold a candle to the DemocRATs. The DemocRATs are actively seeking to destroy this country. I just hope we can stop or slow this madness until the next election. At that time I would like to see each and every one of these bastards thrown out of office and tried for treason. Elections do have consequences and every vote does count!
